New Delhi: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, during his New Delhi tour, today paid courtesy call on Ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence. Baghel told  Singh about State Government's decisions and works in the larger interest of farmers in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister informed Manmohan Singh about the measures taken by Chhattisgarh Government to deal with recession and also about Chhattisgarh Suposhan Abhiyan for malnutrition eradication. Chief Minister gifted a kosa saree and a kurta made by weavers of Chhattisgarh with natural colours.  Manmohan Singh praised the gesture and the gifts. He also Manmohan Singh for Indian Economic Congress to be held in near future in Raipur. Ex-Prime Minister talked about establishing Chhattisgarh as a model state and praised the works of Chhattisgarh Government for welfare of tribals, farmers and all sections of society, inspired by teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.
